Welcome to the Shorewood football 2022 season,

     I am pleased to introduce the 2022 Shorewood football team. We have had a busy winter, spring, and summer preparing for our first game. The student-athletes within this program have been working hard in the weight room and on the field. Our journey started November 22^nd in the weight room with the guidance of our strength coach Kevin Haslam SR. We competed vs Kings high school in 7 v7 from January until Spring drills started in June. Team camp led us to Central Washington university at the end of June followed by the start of Fall practice in August. Our captains consist of 2 returning captains in Reid Petschl and Hunter Tibodeau. New to the leadership team this year seniors Alberto Solano, Eduardo Eulogio, Rory Swanson, and Sophomore Kristian Sickelmaier.

    I grew up in north Seattle and attended Bishop Blanchet high school graduating in 1991. Following high school, I immediately started coaching youth football for Sultan junior high which led me into coaching high school football the next season. Since then I haven’t looked back. I have been on a sideline for 28 seasons, 14 of them being in the Shoreline school district. My previous head coaching experience was at Shorewood for 5 years from 2010-2014. My wife Ann and I live in the Shoreline community along with our 3 children. Reid (16), Paige (16),and Cole(15) who attend Shorewood high school.

    I would like to thank everyone in the Shoreline school district and the Shorewood community for supporting our team as we venture thru the 2022 season.
